These power supplies are generally operated at full load for 24/7 operations at high temperatures. Hence, these power supplies must be extremely rugged and must be de-rated significantly to achieve long operating life.
Delta DC Rectifiers were made by Delta DC Power Inc. which is no longer in business. These rectifiers are used at many Waste Water Plants and Municipal Water Districts throughout USA and Canada. These units tend to overheat and fail due to continuous operation over an extended period of time.
